The Craziness of Life

Time has been flying by for us. I can't believe how insane life is right now. We are diving into so much, that I know we need to take a step back and really reflect on what God is doing in our lives.
With the help of Virginia, Luke and I have been able to get a bit more done this week. More unpacking, organizing the garage, fixing shingles that fly off the roof... the list goes on.
I worked this morning at the gym doing a few Mommy and Me classes. Virginia kept track of Sydney while I ran the class. It is so much fun watching how much Sydney loves jumping and swinging.
Alexi is finding her voice. She "talks" now, making adorable baby noises. She is such a good baby now that I have eliminated all dairy from my diet. Something about allergic foods in a mother's diet that can really affect a breastfed baby.
What is your story these days? I love hearing from each of you. Please forgive me for the delayed responses. We hope to be back to normal soon.

New Home, New Life

We have internet again! We moved into our place this past weekend. We are exhausted, but still very excited to have a home. The place is coming along. Still needs a lot more work, but that will come in time.
Sydney loves her new room and re-discovering old toys. She is becoming a big helper. She has had a couple of great days. She's giving out many more hugs and kisses. Very sweet.
Alexi is precious. She has been blessing us with a few days of sleeping in late. Her cooing is becoming more and more frequent. She smiles all the time now.
Our new jobs are awesome! I love being around gymnastics again. We still do not have a set schedule, but soon that will come.
Sorry for the lack of pictures. I haven't been taking any lately. Don't even know where the camera is! Oh my. Such a mess. It's driving Luke nuts! He can't wait for everything to have it's place.

What We'll Be Doing

Many of you have been asking what we will be doing here in Colorado Springs. We will be coaching and helping manage a gymnastics gym. It's called Aerials Gymnastics and it's the East Location. We have been family friends with the owner since I was a little girl. We are so excited for this new challenge. We have a lot to learn, but we feel up to the challenge. Coaching is my passion and it truly is a dream job.

Sydney HATES when her blanket needs to get washed. I usually try to sneak it in the laundry when she's not looking, but sometimes she catches me! She typically cries there forever and I have to bride her with a jelly bean to distract her. Oh my.... Just can't wait to show her these pictures when she's older.
